Parking Procedure
The following parking procedure takes effect Sept. 14, 2018 at 11 p.m.
Each household with a registered vehicle will receive a parking permit as appropriate. (Consideration will be made for those that have more than one vehicle per household.) One visitor’s pass will be given to each household. Parking passes are only valid for your unit. You cannot use the pass for other Roxboro Housing Authority communities. You cannot give your visitor’s pass to someone else besides your guest. You can request additional visitor’s passes at the administrative office up to 3 p.m. on the last day of the Housing Authority’s work week, typically Friday.
The parking permit color codes based on community are as follows:
Lee Gardens—Yellow
Weatherly Heights—Orange
Green Gardens—Green
Harris Gardens—Light Blue
Towing any vehicles on Roxboro Housing Authority properties will be at the discretion of the Housing Authority. Vehicles parked within the communities without the appropriate permit after 11 p.m. will be towed. Any vehicle parked on the lawn or in any area not for parking vehicles is subject to being towed at any time.
If you misplace, loose or have your parking permit stolen, there is a $50.00 replacement charge due at the time of replacement with a money order payable to Roxboro Housing Authority.
Permits will be available, starting at your community’s mandatory September 2018 meeting. Be prepared to bring your vehicle(s’) registration, make/model information.
Permit distribution will resume the week of Sept. 10 at the Administrative Office (500 Mt. Bethel Church St., Roxboro)
If there are questions about parking, refer to your lease effective May 1, 2018.
