GED/Computer Literacy Classes Remain Open
Roxboro, N.C.-- Sign up today for free General Education Development (GED) classes for Roxboro Housing Authority (RHA) residents and the general public. Classes take place on Tuesdays and Thursday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Lee Gardens Community Center.
Piedmont Community College (PCC) provides an instructor for Adult Education/GED class instruction. Classes expanded to include personal enrichment learning in an interactive environment which allows students to learn at an individualized learning pace, which also includes computer training.
In 2018, the RHA and PCC formed a partnership to offer on-site Adult Education/GED classes at RHA community centers. This partnership continued into 2019 with the class offered on a semester basis.
Interested persons are invited to enroll into the class now.
