Roxboro Housing Authority recently held a quarterly Program Coordinated Committee (PCC) meeting at its Harris Gardens Community Room with various community partners. This meeting fulfills a HUD requirement for its Family Self Sufficiency (FSS) and Resident Opportunities Self Sufficiency (ROSS) grants.
Over 20 attendees enjoyed a great meal, learned about RHA current events from staff and partners shared information about their respective agencies.
The following agencies were represented:
Person Co. EMS, Person Co. DSS, N.C. State Cooperative Extension, Legal Aid, Safe Haven of Person Co., Person Family Medical and Dental Center and NCWorks.
We had new agencies in attendance, including the Courtney Jordan Foundation and Down Home N.C.
We stayed past 9 p.m. because we had so much good networking going on to help low- and very low-income citizens in Person Co.
