New Air Conditioning Planned for Lee Gardens Apts.

Roxboro Housing Authority is accepting bids from highly qualified, reputable HVAC companies that can install multiple units at a time (multiple work crews) using blueprints. David Sims (pictured in red) is RHA's contract engineer. He will handle the procurement process with the RHA Board voting on the most responsive and responsible bidder according to State law along with HUD and RHA policies. Sims will inspect all work along with local inspectors.

 

Come by the Administrative Office at 500 Mt. Bethel Church St. during normal business hours (M-F, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) to view the bid packet and plans. Arrangements must be made to secure a printed set of blueprints.

 

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting took place on Feb. 14, 2024, with three vendors attending. Units were available to allow for robust discussions about how to best do the job. Follow-up information from this meeting will be distributed to ALL interested bidders, so it is not too late to give strong consideration toward participating in this process.
