RHA Wins Seven Awards at Recent Regional Association Conference

RHA Receives CCHRDO Poster Contest Awards.

Roxboro Housing Authority (RHA) received seven awards at the 2023 Carolinas Council of Housing and Redevelopment and Code Officials (CCHRCO) Annual Conference.

RHA won the Human Services Award for its Community Garden Project. The agency also earned the NC Newsletter of the Year Award and earned second place for North Carolina Website of the Year. This is the second year in a row that RHA has won each of these statewide, agency-level awards.

Two of RHA's K-6 youths earned second place and two 6-8 grade RHA youths earned third place for the "What Home Means to Me" poster competition.

Thanks to the entire RHA staff (Larry Mayfield, Jonica Ragland in particular) and community partners South Elementary School Erin Redfern and Bernard Obie, local organic farmer for the school-community partnership that earned the association's most coveted award.
