Roxboro Housing Authority
Roxboro, North Carolina
Established in 1969, the Roxboro Housing Authority's motto is to provide "Housing for a Brighter Future." We provide decent, safe, affordable rental housing within the Roxboro Housing Authority (RHA) area for eligible low to moderate income families, the elderly, and persons with disabilities. Our objective is to offer individuals and families the opportunity to make the transition from subsidized to non-subsidized housing by promoting personal, and economic upward mobility, and to improve communities by encouraging self-sufficiency for clients.
We achieve this through the increased availability of resident programs, affordable housing, and related services. Programs include Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS), and Resident Opportunities and Self Sufficiency (ROSS). The Housing Authority serves communities within a five-mile radius of the Roxboro city limits in Person County, all located within the northern most part of the Greater Research Triangle Park (RTP), NC area.
